The longest word in the English language

When I was a schoolboy, I was taught that the longest word in the English language was “antidisestablishmentarianism”.

But now I learn there is an even longer word, a word I can’t begin to write because it has 189,819 letters.  It is the name of a giant molecule in the form of a lexical description, and is abbreviated “tintin.”  A tiny segment of the word is shown below.  It takes 3.5 hours to pronounce, and, reportedly, about a year to transmit in Twitter segments.
