It doesn’t need to be true. It’s like an Aesop’s fable (minus the animals). It is a scene from modern Britain in that it sharply paints the intolerance of others we’re currently experiencing, combined with the sheer lack of understanding about everyone’s immigrant origins and our own place in society.
