The opposition to vaccination shifted from skepticism to a religious article of faith quite a while ago.
To be in a certain social group there are things you have to believe. I saw a survey indicating that 30% of people reported agreeing with something they didn’t believe in just so they could fit in better socially. Maybe we ought to offer vaccines up clandestinely.
